The cosmic Gods were worshipped by the great cult centres of Ancient Egypt civilisation. They however were traditionnally unapproachable by the masses, until some later periods when religious democratisation got underway and cults surrounding these Cosmic Egyptian divinities or Gods of the "First Time" becamse nation wide cult figures among the people rather than being of exclusive worship to the Pharaohs. In the reign of Thuthmosis III the number of Gods worshipped, including figures which were objects of superstituous cults, amounted to 740, most of whom being city gods we know little of. The Gods of the First Times featured here were the most important ones however, worshipped during the long periods of the Ancient Egyptian Kingdoms by the pharaohs.
